The VIS can be accessed by using a PIN issued through your local PIN distributor. The PIN is accessible
immediately and is valid for one year. Please note that the PIN has 12 digits;
please check before you leave the PIN distribution location.
Please note, the VIS is the only authorized source of official nonimmigrant visa
information from the United States Embassy (via telephone), and is the only authorized
method to schedule a personal interview. General information is also available via
the Embassy’s website at

Once you obtain your non-refundable PIN, please call the appropriate U.S. Visa Information
Service number for information on nonimmigrant visas to the United States and/or
to schedule a visa interview:
